The Amoa Story
Amoa Resort,t formally known as Siufaga Beach Resort opened in the late 1980s as a family business catering to tourists seeking more of a ‘road less travelled’ experience on the quieter Samoan island of Savaii.
The ferry back in those days was often unpredicateble so often guests would find themselves stuck in Savaii and the idyllic village of Siufaga with its white sandy beaches was hard to pass by.
Despite having endured through major cyclones in 1990 & 1991 which did put business to a halt, the resort has continued to grow and in 2015 rebranded as Amoa Resort Savaii.
Today the resort is still family owned and offers 15 luxury Bungalows & Villas, all overlooking a gorgeous swimming pool & gardens with swim up bar and a full service restaurant and bar specialising in South Pacific cuisine.
